Withdrawal of Manuscript

Manuscript withdrawal is permitted only upon formal request by the corresponding author and must be based on clear and valid reasons. Withdrawal after the peer-review process has begun or during the editorial process is highly discouraged, as it disrupts the publication flow and wastes the time and effort of reviewers and editors.

To withdraw a manuscript, the author must:

  1. Submit a formal withdrawal request via letter/email signed by all authors.
  2. Provide a detailed explanation for the withdrawal.
  3. Await approval from the editorial board.

Unjustified withdrawal or withdrawal after acceptance may result in a submission ban for the next two issues of Spectapro and may lead to ethical monitoring of the authors involved.

Spectapro does not impose a penalty for withdrawal before the review process starts, but if the manuscript is withdrawn during or after review, a compensation fee may be requested to cover the editorial effort.
