Correction and Retraction

Spectapro is committed to upholding the integrity and accuracy of its publications. We provide clear policies for corrections and retractions when significant errors or ethical breaches are identified.

Correction

A correction will be issued if:

  • Minor errors are discovered (e.g., author names, affiliations, data, or figure labeling) that do not affect the overall interpretation or conclusions of the article.
  • Requested by authors or identified by editors after publication.

Corrections will be published as official notices (corrigendum or erratum), clearly linked to the original article.

Retraction

A retraction will be issued if:

  • There is evidence of serious ethical violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, citation manipulation, or duplicate publication.
  • Major errors are found that compromise the validity of the study’s findings or conclusions.
  • The article was published unlawfully or without proper authorship consent.

Retractions may be initiated by the editorial board, the publisher, or third parties with valid proof.

Retracted articles will be clearly marked as “Retracted” on the journal’s website, and the PDF version will include a visible “Retracted” watermark.
