Publication License

All articles published in Afeksi: Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan are licensed under the:

Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License
(CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, others are permitted to:

  1. Share, meaning to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and

  2. Adapt, meaning to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

Such use must comply with the following conditions:

a. Attribution

Users must give appropriate credit to the author, acknowledge the source of first publication, provide information about the applicable license, and indicate whether any changes have been made to the work.

Attribution must not be presented in any manner that suggests that the author or the journal endorses the user or any particular use of the work.

b. ShareAlike

If users remix, transform, translate, or build upon the work, the adapted material must be distributed under the same license or a license compatible with CC BY-SA 4.0.

c. No Additional Restrictions

Users may not impose additional legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from exercising the rights granted under the license.

d. Integrity of Scholarly Work

The use or adaptation of an article must not:

  • alter research data or conclusions in a misleading manner;

  • remove attribution to the author;

  • create the impression that an adapted version is the journal’s official version;

  • irresponsibly damage the author’s reputation; or

  • be used to commit ethical violations, plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of scholarly information.

Copyright

Copyright in the article remains with the author.

By publishing an article in Afeksi: Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan, the author grants the journal:

  1. the right of first publication of the article;

  2. a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, archive, index, and promote the article;

  3. the right to make the article available in various formats and media for scholarly dissemination;

  4. the right to submit the article and its metadata to indexing services, libraries, repositories, and digital preservation services; and

  5. the right to identify the journal as the venue of first publication of the article.

The granting of publication rights to the journal does not transfer copyright ownership from the author to the publisher.

Authors retain the right to use, distribute, archive, and further develop their published work, provided that they acknowledge that the article was first published in Afeksi: Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan.

Authors’ Rights to Distribute Articles

Authors are permitted and encouraged to distribute their articles through:

  • institutional repositories;

  • subject-based or disciplinary repositories;

  • personal websites;

  • academic profiles;

  • research information systems;

  • digital libraries;

  • educational platforms and materials;

  • academic networks;

  • books or edited volumes; and

  • other lawful media.

The distribution of a published version of an article must include:

  1. the author’s name;

  2. the title of the article;

  3. the name Afeksi: Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan;

  4. the volume, issue, year, and page numbers, where available;

  5. the Digital Object Identifier or DOI, where available;

  6. a link to the article on the journal’s official website; and

  7. a statement indicating that the article is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Authors may enter into additional non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the published version of their article, provided that such agreements acknowledge Afeksi: Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan as the venue of first publication.
