Abstract

Evaluasi merupakan komponen penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena berfungsi untuk mengetahui ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan perkembangan peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan komponen evaluasi dalam pembelajaran yang meliputi prinsip dasar evaluasi, prinsip penilaian, serta ranah hasil belajar yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi Pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai buku, artikel ilmiah, dan sumber relevan yang berkaitan dengan evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi yang efektif harus dilaksanakan berdasarkan prinsip keseluruhan, kesinambungan, objektivitas, kooperatif, dan praktis. Penilaian juga harus memenuhi prinsip valid, objektif, adil, terbuka, akuntabel, sistematis, dan beracuan pada kriteria. Selain itu, evaluasi pembelajaran perlu memperhatikan keseimbangan antara ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik agar diperoleh Gambaran kemampuan peserta didik secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, evaluasi tidak hanya befungsi sebagai alat ukur hasil belajar, tetapi juga sebagai dasar perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran.
