Penerapan Four Square Writing Method (FSWM) Berbasis QR Code Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Deskripsi Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Blora

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi melalui penerapan Four Square Writing Method (FSWM) berbasis QR Code. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus berdasarkan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek penelitian adalah 27 siswa kelas VII-I SMP Negeri 3 Blora. Data utama dikumpulkan melalui angket minat belajar, sedangkan data pendukung diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menghitung frekuensi, skor perolehan, dan persentase minat belajar siswa, sedangkan analisis kualitatif dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk memperkuat hasil angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 62,15% pada tahap prasiklus dengan kategori rendah, menjadi 79,90% pada siklus I dengan kategori sedang, dan mencapai 82,03% pada siklus II dengan kategori tinggi. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Four Square Writing Method (FSWM) berbasis QR Code dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi pada kelas VII-I SMP Negeri 3 Blora.
