PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE EVALUASI Q-VISIT PADA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa sekolah menengah pertama dengan menggunakan metode evaluasi Q-Visit. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII Literasi SMPN 1 Palu semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 31 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif.  Dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, masing-masing sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah diaadakan tindakan berupa penerapan evaluasi Q-Visit siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata 46.65 dengan skor ideal 100, berada di kategori rendah. Mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II skor rata-rata menjadi 71.45 dengan skor ideal 100, berada pada kategori timggi. Pada post-test sendiri nilai rata-rata menjadi 83.68 dengan skor ideal 100, berada pada kategori tinggi pula. Kesimpulan dari penelitian yaitu penerapan metode evaluasi Q-Visit terdapat penigkatan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Palu.
