Author Guidelines

1. The submission has not been previously published in full text or apart of it.
2. The submission is original, neither a compilation nor a translation.
3. Manner of writing the complete article can refer to the template which you can download 
4. For manuscript in Bahasa Indonesia, please use Ejaan yang Disempurnakan (EYD) as can be download here.

6. The submission is a critical review, or empirical research focusing on Islamic law, which covers:
7. Empirical research-based manuscript use formats: Abstract, Keyword, Introduction,  Research Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and Reference can be download here.
8. Abstract: the abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. This abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, objective of paper, followed by a statement regarding the methodology and a brief summary of results. The abstract should end with a comment on the significance of the results or a brief conclusion. Abstracts are written in 11 pt Times New Roman, preferably not more than 150 words.
9. Keyword: maximum of 5 keywords separated by semicolon (;), crucial to the appropriate indexing of the papers, are to be given. eg: muslim economic; Islamic economic; social media; Islamic bank
10. Introduction: consist of backgroung problem, briefly literature review, research question, and research objective.
11. Research Method: consist type of research, subject and object, data collection techniques, data analysis technique, location and time of research.
12. Result: contains brief data presentation, analysis and research findings that contribute to the development of Islamic business and management. It contains the analysis based on the research question.
13. Discussion: contains of the understanding of the findings and the comparison with the theory and/or similar research.
14. Conclusion: the conclusion is not a summary of the manuscript. Conclusion part consists of the answer of the research question(s) or the main points of discussion. This is usually a very short paragraph. Restate your overall opinion of the text. Briefly present recommendations. If necessary some further qualification or explanation of your judgement can be included. This can help your critique sound fair and reasonable
15. Reference: References written using chicago manual of style 17th edition (full note). The list of bibliography must be sorted in alphabetical order, however in regard Arabic names with article “al”, the article is not in consideration. Bibliography it is highly recommended to use any rerence manager software, such as ZOTERO or Mendeley to manage your citation.
16. You can choose how to sequence your critique. Here are some examples to get you started:
17. Most important to least important conclusions you make about the text.
18. If your critique is more positive than negative, then present the negative points first and the positive last.
19. If your critique is more negative than positive, then present the positive points first and the negative last.
20. If there are both strengths and weakness for each criterion you use, you need to decide overall what your judgement is. For example, you may want to comment on a key idea in the text and have both positive and negative comments. You could begin by stating what is good about the idea and then concede and explain how it is limited in some way. While this example shows a mixed evaluation, overall you are probably being more negative than positive.
21. In long reviews, you can address each criteria you choose in a paragraph, including both negative and positive points. For very short critical reviews (one page or less) where your comments will be briefer, include a paragraph of positive aspects and another of negative.
22. You can also include recommendations for how the text can be improved in terms of ideas, research approach; theories or frameworks used can also be included in the critique section.
23. Firstly, the author should register as either an author or reviewer (checking role as author or reviewer) in the Register.
24. After the registration step is completed, log in as an author, click in New Submission. The article submission stage consists of five stages, such as:(1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.

26. The incoming manuscript will check the similarity with a maximum tolerance of 20%. If the results show more than 20%, the manuscript will be returned to be improved by the author.
